Driven by a lifelong interest in healthcare and a genuine passion for helping others, Dacia brings a warm and personalized approach to foot care. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Guelph, Dacia went on to pursue specialized training at the Michener Institute in Toronto, graduating from the Chiropody program with a strong foundation in both clinical skills and patient-centered care.

Throughout her studies Dacia has developed a particular interest in biomechanics, wound care, and diabetes foot health education. Dacia has gained valuable experience working in a variety of clinical settings across Ontario, including private practices and community health centres in London, Brantford, Toronto, Hamilton, and Welland. This diverse background has allowed her to work with patients of all ages and needs, from managing chronic foot conditions to providing preventative care.

Outside of the clinic, Dacia enjoys staying active by exploring Hamilton’s scenic trails, doing hot yoga or Pilates and lifting weights at the gym. A lover of fashion and creativity, she enjoys curating outfits, crocheting while watching reality TV, and discovering new local restaurants and food spots around the city.

With a deep commitment to improving mobility and quality of life, Dacia looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality foot care to every patient.

Spencer became interested in the healthcare field while completing her degree in biology at McMaster University. She recently completed her advanced diploma in Chiropody with distinction at the Michener Institute in 2024 and has had hands-on experience in both private and community practice settings. She has since returned to the Michener Institute as an Assistant Professor for first year clinical courses. A lifelong learner, she enjoys attending conferences and workshops to ensure she is up to date with the research to offer her patients the best care possible. Recently, she completed a micro credential course on lymphedema and chronic edema through the University of Alberta. As an avid dancer, she was first introduced to the chiropody field after an injury and was intrigued by the diverse and variable nature of the practice. She holds a particular interest in injury rehabilitation and prevention and is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest treatment breakthroughs and information. Outside of work, Spencer loves cooking and continues to ballroom dance with her husband, Casey.

After finishing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, Joyce went on to study Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN in Toronto. She has gained valuable clinical experience through the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Wilson Health Services, Waterloo Foot Clinic and Royal City Foot Clinic.

Growing up with her grandparents, Joyce has seen first hand how ageing affects the feet and mobility of the body. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care with a holistic approach to prevent, treat, and alleviate any foot issues of each individual that comes into our office. She is committed to being up to date with all treatment options and providing informative advice and education.

Outside of work, you can find Joyce at a dog park with her chihuahua terrier Tippy, camping and hiking at a provincial park, working out at the gym or finding the next aesthetically pleasing cafe to sip coffee in. She is looking forward to meeting you at our clinic.
